The legal database is a resource developed in cooperation with DFDL Lawyers and Counselors for foreign investors which provides the text of some of the most important laws governing foreign investment. This resource is intended to provide a general sense of the legal framework and not be a final authority on Lao laws. All documents within this database were as up to date as possible at the time of posting. Investors should contact the DDFI for authoritative information on foreign investment related laws and their official translations in the Lao PDR.
