Department of Domestic and Foreign Investment (DDFI) should be the first
stop for information on the investment process in Laos. The DDFI's
primary functions include: promoting Laos as an investment
destination, screening investment proposals, offering investment
incentives and facilitating foreign investment. Our Web site is
just one way we make information readily available and provide
easy access to the DDFI and investment in Laos.
If you would like to apply for an investment license, please download the PDF file found on this site, complete and return it to the DDFI at the address in the 'Who to contact' section of this Web site. For more information on this process, please see our section entitle ‘Start-up procedures.’ If you need additional information, the DDFI can answer your investment questions and, when necessary, direct you to other sources.
